Allyson Carbaugh
Allyson Carbaugh, a former prosecutor for the Richland County Solicitor’s office, currently practices in the area of criminal defense and real estate closings. She has represented persons charged with DUI, Criminal Domestic Violence, Assault and Battery of High and Aggravated Nature and Burglary.
Born on May 9, 1980 in Barbarton, Ohio to parents Gary and Barbara Carbaugh. Allyson graduated from South Aiken High School in 1998; she received her B.A. in English from University of South Carolina in 2002 and received her Juris Doctor from the University of South Carolina in 2005.
While Ms. Carbaugh was in school for her undergrad program she worked as a State House Senatorial page in the spring of 1999. She also was a member Relations Director for the Capital City Club from the spring of 2000 till the fall of 2002. After entering law school Ms. Carbaugh became a law clerk for the Legislative Council in the fall of 2003. In the spring of 2004 she became a law clerk for the Law Office of Richard A. Harpootlian. From 2005-2007 she was an Assistant Solicitor for the Fifth Judicial Circuit.
